Xiafu Activity Center is located next to Hongfu Gong Temple, the soul of Xiafu’s community and a place where locals congregate. One of the most interesting elements of Taiwanese temples, such as Hongfu Gong, is the roof, which is symbolic of Taiwanese culture, its stories, and its bright colors. The role of Xiafu Activity Center is to interpret this rich Taiwanese cultural language and make a tangible experience for the public; a goal that is accomplished through its structure, which serves to define, translate, and communicate Taiwanese culture.
